What is a personal computer concierge?

Anne received a used computer as gift from her elderly father.

She didn't know how to set it up, or if it was better than the one she already used. She called PC-Pearls, and in just 90 minutes, we determined that this "gift" was in fact an older model running a much older operating system. We recommended that she donate it to a charity or recycle it.

Richard had extensively modified his trusty laptop computer.

But his CD-burner upgrade wasn't working anymore, and he didn't know why. PC-Pearls was called in to sort out the trouble. In 60 minutes, we discovered that the laptop did not have enough memory to properly run the CD-burning software he had installed. We recommended that he upgrade his laptop with maximum memory allowed, and then optimized his system.
